Birth is not just a physical event—it’s a whole-body, whole-being experience. And just like any meaningful rite of passage, your body and nervous system thrive with intentional preparation.

Our Yoga for Pregnancy & Birth workshops are more than movement classes. They’re immersive, embodied explorations that help you lean into the intensity of labour - not brace against it.

Through rhythmic movement, intentional breathing, deep relaxation and sensory exploration, you’ll develop the inner confidence to meet birth with clarity, courage and calm.

From Technique to Instinct: Preparing for Birth, Embodied

These sessions are designed to help you move from learning about birth to embodying your power to birth.

With regular practice, you’ll:

  • Transform active birth techniques into instinctive responses

  • Develop body-felt confidence in your birthing potential

  • Build capacity to meet intensity with softness, rather than resistance

  • Cultivate tools for a positive, empowered birth experience

We work with your nervous system - so the practices are gentle, slow, and designed to feel nourishing rather than performative. This is your invitation to go inward. Birth is a deeply sensory experience. Where better to explore that than in a space where you feel safe, supported and seen?

Why Yoga is an Ideal Birth Preparation Tool

Yoga for Pregnancy & Birth - it’s about body awareness, breath connection and emotional attunement:

  • Breath-led, rhythmic movement to support pelvic balance and fetal positioning

  • Deep rest and guided relaxation to settle your nervous system

  • Imagery, intuition and somatic awareness to connect with your baby

  • Safe exploration of intensity - building trust in your capacity to work with, not against, labour

A Trimester-by-Trimester Approach

Your needs shift across your pregnancy. Here’s how our sessions support you through each phase:

First Trimester

  • Balance hormonal changes

  • Stabilise energy and nervous system response

  • Learn grounding practices for emotional shifts

Second Trimester

  • Sustain pelvic stability

  • Cultivate postural awareness

  • Create space for baby’s growth

Third Trimester

  • Optimise baby’s position for birth

  • Take yoga from the mat into your birth space

  • Practice breath and relaxation to release birth hormones naturally
