mamashanti about

Nina Isabella

founder of mamashanti

I founded mamashanti in 2005

in response to the very real need for women to consciously prepare for birth, and with it establishing the modality of Yoga for Pregnancy & Birth.  I bring a genuine understanding of the complexity of change that comes with pregnancy, this I approach with humour, compassion and joy. I am truly passionate about sharing my own intentional practice of with the hundreds of women and their partners who find their way to me.

Teaching yoga is deeply informed by my own experience of pregnancy and birth and by my work as a birth attendant.

I consciously bring the insights gained from these experiences and apply directly to teaching. All of my classes and workshops are designed to delight, inform and inspire you to embrace the glorious journey of birth and motherhood.

I have completed my Master of Counselling. In addition to offering my unique Womanly Counselling practice, I am available for birth support, private birth preparation and private pelvic floor Rx sessions and from time to time the odd pop-up online class in Central Victoria and online. Sign up for my newsletter and follow me on Instagram to keep up with developments.

Welcome to mamashanti,

may the path before you be paved with joy. May your heart be opened by the boundless gifts of parenthood and as Kahlil Gibran so eloquently said, I sincerely hope each morning you

“wake at dawn with winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving”
