Mamashanti's online classes are a subscriber service, delivered live each week via a Private facebook Group. Each week, I will record a luxe and lovely 1hr & 15min Yoga for Pregnancy & Birth session to our Private Facebook Group. Join in live or pop by later. Most weeks, I’ll also include shorter guided relaxation practices and acupressure practices. As long as you have access to Facebook, you can logon and access classes anytime and anywhere.

Who are these sessions for?

Yoga for Pregnancy & Birth Classes are a welcoming, inclusive space for ALL pregnant women

Perfect anytime from the start of your second trimester, these sessions are superb for first-time mothers and an excellent refresher for women who have birthed. 


Yoga for Pregnancy & Birth Classes are of particular assistance if you:

  • Would like to do all you can to have a positive birth experience;

  • Are having difficulty accessing childbirth education classes;

  • Feel mainstream birth preparation services do not support your unique needs and desires for birth;

  • Have been advised your baby is settling in an unfavourable position for birth;

  • Are planning a Vaginal Birth After Caesarian VBAC;

  • Are carrying birth trauma;

  • Are experiencing pelvic girdle pain {AKA pelvic instability};

  • Are concerned about your pelvic floor function before, during or after pregnancy


I sought pregnancy yoga to increase my confidence in birthing my baby with minimal medical intervention. Your yoga met this need plus so much more. You helped me with the emotional ups and downs of the pregnancy journey. You drip fed information each week about baby development, birthing baby, staying healthy during and post pregnancy, attachment strategies ie ways to increase bonding with baby both during pregnancy and afterwards.  You gave me strategies to predict medical intervention, minimise medical intervention and also give permission for invention when needed ie not a black and white view that medical intervention is ‘bad’.  You enabled me to connect with my body and get into zone even in a very medicalised environment during labour. The positions practiced in class focused on exactly what I needed during labour.
 I had a drug free labour that I believe was only possible because of your classes!!!
